Joints & Java
FAQ.
What is Joints & Java?
Joints & Java is the group behind THC, CBD, CBN, and future Minecraft projects. The Members page introduces the team; Honorable mentions introduces our friends.
What does each project do?
THC adds music-driven visuals, lyrics, and synchronized parties. CBD streams a Minecraft display to a browser on another device. CBN provides an in-game HTML interface runtime and is currently an alpha/dev build.
Where are the downloads and documentation?
Every project has its own Downloads, Wiki, Changelog, FAQ, Agreements, and Status pages. Choose the project in the header to find its resources.
Which versions are available?
CBD currently offers Minecraft 1.21.1. CBN currently offers Minecraft 26.2. THC lists its available builds on its Downloads page. Disabled versions are not available downloads.
How do I join the team or create a Friend profile?
An owner or developer assigns a reserved profile. Friends use an invitation key through Staff login. Open "Don't have an account?" to register. A Friend account is not a staff rank.
Do all supporters get a public profile?
No. Ordinary Patreon and Ko-fi supporter accounts remain separate from the public team/Friend directory. Friend profiles are invitation-based.
Can I edit my public profile?
Select your avatar in the header to open Account. You can edit your display name, aliases, title, status, Bio, avatar, social links, and outline/glow preferences.
Are my emails public?
No. Domain-address reservations and recovery emails belong to your private Account settings. Public member responses do not include them. Verification and mailbox delivery stay pending until the email service is enabled.
How does Minecraft linking work?
THC uses its existing in-game pairing code. CBD and CBN have separate pending verification sections. Entering a name alone does not prove ownership of a Minecraft account.
Do CBD and CBN need different donation links?
No. The same Patreon and Ko-fi links support the work across Joints & Java. Project-specific access is still checked separately; a donation does not make someone staff.
Why is the YouTube player visible?
The creator track uses YouTube's embedded player. Its custom controls operate that player; playback is not a hidden audio stream. The background remains ambient for this source.
How do I get help or report an issue?
Open the relevant project's Report page. Include the Minecraft version, loader, project version, and a clear description. Never put passwords, access keys, or private tokens into a report.
